Varied commodities to markets in ASEAN countries via Okinawa
| It seems to know no end in the rising interest in and needs for safe and trusted Japanese foods in ASEAN countries, where economies continue to grow and income levels are improving. We deliver fresh ingredients in season from all over Japan, not saying of “Mie, the scenic and cultural prefecture ”, to consumers in ASEAN countries via the Okinawa International Logistics Hub or International Logistics Special Economic Zone. Fresh goods are distributed to overseas destinations on the next day after harvesting, utilizing Yamato Transport’s International Cool Delivery Service and ANA Cargo’s high-speed delivery system. Since shipments are loaded in mixed cargo containers, they can be exported regardless how small their lots. Products of Mie Prefecture, moreover, offer a merit for buyers from overseas because the municipal government provides a subsidy for the transportation cost. As a mediator to introduce excellent Japanese ingredients to overseas, we, as a local trading house, contribute to local customers for deployments of their products in overseas markets. |

Supports for planning and development of commodities for overseas sales
We monitor constantly trends and needs in overseas markets, and provide supports for producers to develop “marketable commodities” in cooperation with them.
Consumers’ liking varies widely country by country.
In Hong Kong, for example, where the number of nuclear families is increasing, packages in smaller volume have better chances to get sold.
Not saying of the packaging of commodities, we also propose and materialize collaborations with specialties from many other parts of Japan, and assist to develop marketable commodities with higher added value.
